I love these shoes. I’m down with the smell…it brings nostalgia—scent does soften over time and isn’t quite so intense [for those worried]…it’s kinda fun to ask people to smell your shoes. I have weird feet, it’s always been difficult to nail down a size for me. I fluctuate between 8.5-9.5 depending on the shoe type. I originally purchased size 8 and it was very tight— toes touched the tips of the shoes, maybe with a ton of wear they could’ve stretched? I’m not willing to take the chance though. Swapped out for a 9 and they’re just a smidge too big….but I had to keep them bc I love them—so we just suffer through the slightly uncomfortable wearing of them. I am a manager at a restaurant and these are perfect in this role [minus the ill-fit, and the issues that brings]. I notice they wear better without socks, as they’re grippier on your foot and you can kinda grip with your toes as your running around. I love the shoes; the glitter is an awesome, subtle detail, they’re jelly so that’s fun, and they have a great shape…but if you have issues with sizing, as I do—decide if you’re cool with too tight& cramped toes, or loafers that wear like flip flops.
